My name is Lovelie Selica Faustino-Molmud

I'm originally from San Diego, California but moved up to the Bay Area for college. I know what you're thinking - LovelieSF hahh not so clever - in the words of my brother, "We get it your name is Lovelie" and you live in San Francisco. But if you picked up on the clues earlier, it actually stems from my initials. And that's the real story behind the go-to username and domain. If you got it wrong - don't feel bad! My family, all of whom refer to me as Selica, and my husband missed the connection until I pointed it out. If you did, you win! *Insert virtual high five!*

What else is there?

As of now, you know a few facts about me, but if you really want to know the juicy details here's as much as I could cull from at the top of my head. I moved to San Francisco in 09' specifically for the SF State journalism program. The subject that felt most natural to me had always been English and most of the time I felt like I expressed myself better in my writing, so I figured this city girl would do best in another big city. Also, my Pilipino parents did not seem to keen on me moving to another state so 8 hours up north was my best option.

While in school I honed my journalism craft as an editorial assistant for AsianWeek, and as an arts and entertainment reporter and then editor for the school paper. I discovered other interests, including graphic design, communications, and project management. Post graduation I explored work opportunities where I could utilize my toolkit of skills.

For seven+ years I have cultivated an incredibly eclectic work background. I was a Community Integration Specialist (2013-14), providing job coaching for people with disabilities as they worked in different departments at UCSF. Followed by years as a Program Manager (2014-18) for Pilipino arts non-profit organization Kularts. Then as a Content Specialist at Accelo (2018-19), and then a Content Manager (2020-2022) and now a Client Success Manager supporting clients develop content strategies at Raftr. For several years I also collaborated with my husband on Liquid Bread Magazine, a Bay Area online craft beer trade publication as the Managing Editor (2014-18).

But there has to be more...

When I am not managing office life I am a border collie mom to my rescue pup, Kona. There’s also a strong possibility I’m taking care of my new son. Pre-baby you’d typically find me hanging out with the husband at one of our favorite Bay Area breweries (I mean you can still catch us there sporadically) or in the middle of texting my siblings in our group messenger, sometimes we're driving down South to visit my family or to our getaway spot Paso Robles for some "wine-ing" I mean winding down time. If you do want to know more feel free to drop a message or explore my site. Thank you for reading!
